Since 2009, Michele Coletti is Affiliated Professor at the Grenoble Ecole de Management where he teaches innovation management at bachelor, master and MBA level. Michele is a thesis supervisor and the Academic Leader of the MBA specialisation in Management Consulting and the Executive Certificate of Innovation, Intrapreneurship and Design Thinking. His research focuses on collaborative innovation and his papers have been published in academic journals such as Science and Public Policy, International Journal of Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management and Economics of Innovation and New Technology.
From 2010 to 2014, he has been Adviser for innovation policies at the Economic Department of the Provincia di Milano, participating to EU-funded projects on business clusters and incubation policies and to the ECIA (European Creative Industries Alliance) platform. Michele has also worked in a number of publicly funded projects carrying out impact evaluations and workshop facilitations with participatory methodologies.
A former entrepreneur himself, Michele is a trainer and business coach in entrepreneurship and mentoring programmes.
Michele holds a PhD in Management Engineering for the Politecnico di Milano, an MBA from the Grenoble Graduate School of Business and an MSc in Technology and Innovation Management from SPRU at the University of Sussex. He is a member of the editorial board of the International Journal of Competitiveness, the Academic Fellowship Panel of the ICMCI (International Council of Management Consulting Institutes) and the Triple Helix Association.
